About Us

LEAF is a non-profit organization committed to improving access to quality education for children and youth in underserved communities in Kenya. Our goal is to bridge the education gap by providing educational resources, opportunities, and training to empower students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through partnerships and innovative teaching methods, we aim to create lasting change and ensure that every child, regardless of their socio-economic status, has the opportunity to succeed. Our programs focus on enhancing educational outcomes, creating sustainable impact, and promoting equal opportunities for all students to contribute to the development of their families, communities, and the nation at large in the future.

Almost 1.13 million children of primary school age (6 to 13 years old) in Kenya are already missing out on education. More are in desperate need of educational support. - UNICEF Kenya, 2020. The situation has worsened with the Covid-19 pandemic. The percentage of school-aged children (6 to 15 years) out of school in Kenya increased from 7.5% in 2021 to 8.5% in 2023. Worryingly, too, the majority of the children out of school are from households whose heads have no formal education. - The Star Magazine, 2024

Objective Outcomes: All our projects will fall under below Objective Outcomes that ensures LEAF adheres to the goals set.

They include:
Quality Access: To ensure that disadvantaged children are provided with continuous quality education by focusing on access to learning materials, facility setup and improvement.
