Ille Primary School in Turkana, an arid region plagued by drought and water scarcity, is launching a Tree Planting (Go-Green) project. In an area with limited green spaces, this initiative not only combats desertification but also teaches students environmental responsibility. For many children growing up in harsh conditions, it’s a rare chance to improve their surroundings.

Volunteers will work alongside students to plant treelings during the rainy season and educate them on the importance of trees in addressing climate change and improving local conditions.
